Wonders Of The Rain

Rain is one of the most important case for life on earth. He is a prerequisite for the continuation of activities in one place. Rain, which has an important role for all living creatures, including humans, is mentioned in several verses in the Quran about the important information about the rain, levels and effects.

This information, which is probably known to man in his time, shows us that the Qur'an is the word of God. Now, let's review the information about the rain that set forth in the Qur'an.

Levels of Rain

In the Surat Az-Zukhruf: 11, rain water is expressed as derived in "certain size". As the verse below:

الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

"And that sends down rain from the sky according to the levels (necessary) and then we turn the water off the land, like that day you will be excluded (from the dead)." (Surah Az-Zukhruf: 11)

"Levels" mentioned in this verse is one of the characteristics of rain. In general, the amount of rain that falls to earth is always the same. An estimated 16 tons of water evaporate on earth every second. This amount is equal to the amount of water that falls to earth each second. This suggests that rain continuously circulates in a balanced cycle according to the "size" certain.

Other measurements related to the speed of fall of rain is rain. The minimum altitude of the cloud is about 12,000 feet. When dropped from this height, an object that has the weight and size of the droplets of rain will continue to drive and fell on the ground with a speed 558 km/hour. Of course, any object that falls with the speed would result in damage. And when the rain fell that way, then all land plants will be destroyed, residential, housing, vehicles will be damaged, and people were not able to go out without wearing protective equipment extra. Moreover, this calculation is made to an altitude of 12,000 feet, in fact there is a cloud that has a height of only about 10,000 feet. A droplet of rain that falls at the height of this of course will fall at a speed that is able to destroy anything.

But not so incurred, regardless of the height of the rain that falls, the average speed of only about 8-10 km / h when it reaches the ground. This is because the form of raindrops is very special. The specialty of this form rain droplets enhance the effects of atmospheric friction and maintain the speed of the drops of rain when reached "the limit" a certain speed. (Currently, a parachute designed using this technique).

Not limited to these "measurements" of rain. Another example, the atmospheric layer where the occurrence of rain, temperatures may drop below zero up to 400oC. Even so, the drops of rain does not turn into ice particles. (This is certainly a deadly threat to all living things on earth.) Reasons for not freezing rain droplets is due to water contained in the atmosphere is pure water. As we know, that pure water hardly freezes at very low temperatures.

Establishment of Rain

How rain forms remained a mystery for man in a long time. Only after the invention of radar weather, only then can understand the stages of the formation of rain. Rain formation occurs in three stages. First, the "raw material" of rain rises up into the air. Then collected into clouds. Finally, the drops of rain appeared.

These stages in detail has been written in the Qur'an centuries last year before the information about the formation of rain delivered:

"God, he who sends the winds, and the winds that stir the clouds and God laid it on the sky according to his will, and make it lumpy: then you see the rain out of the cracks, but when the rain came down on his servants that according to his will, suddenly they become excited. "(Surat ar-Rum: 48)

Now, let's look at the three stages mentioned in the Qur'an:

Stage One: "God, he who sends the winds ... .."
Miracle of Rain

Air bubbles are not formed by countless bubbles in the ocean that continuously break and cause water particles to be ejected into the air toward the sky. These particles, which are rich in salt-and then the wind shifted upward toward the atmosphere. These particles (called aerosols) form clouds by collecting the water vapor (which rises from the sea as droplets by a process known as "Water Trap") around it.

Stage Two: "... .. and the winds that stir the clouds and God laid it on the sky
according to his will, and become lumpy ... .."

The clouds formed from water vapor that condenses around the salt crystals or dust particles in the air. Because the droplets of water here is very small (with diameters between 0.01 to 0.02 mm), the clouds floating in the air and spread out in space. So the sky is obscured by clouds.

Phase Three: ".... And then you see the rain out of the cracks, but when the rain came down."

Water particles that surround salt crystals and dust particles thicken and form rain droplets. Thus, droplet-droplet, which becomes heavier than air, leaving the clouds and began to fall to the ground as rain.

Each stage in the formation of rain delivered in the Qur'an. Moreover, the stages are explained in the correct sequence. Like other natural phenomena in the world, again the Qur'an that gives the most precise information about this phenomenon, in addition, the Qur'an
