The Secret Of Iron In The Qur'an

Iron is one element that clearly stated in the Qur'an. In Surat Al Hadiid, which means "iron", we are told as follows:

 وَأَنْزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ

It means: "... And We sent down iron in whom there is great strength and range of benefits to humans ...." (Surat al-Hadiid: 25)

The word "anzalnaa" which means "we sent down" specifically used for iron in this paragraph, can be interpreted metaphorically to explain that iron was created to provide benefits for humans. But when we consider the literal meaning of this word, namely "a material derived from the sky", we will realize that this verse has a very important scientific miracles.

This is because modern astronomical findings have revealed that the metal iron found on earth we come from giant stars in outer space.

Heavy metals in the universe is created and produced in the core of massive stars. However, our solar system does not have a structure suitable for producing iron independently. Iron can only be created and produced in stars are much larger than the sun, where the temperature reaches several hundred million degrees. When the amount of iron has exceeded a certain limit in a star, the star could no longer bear it, and finally burst through the event known as "nova" or a "supernova".

As a result of this explosion, meteors containing iron are scattered throughout the universe and they move through a vacuum up to experience the pull of celestial objects gravitationally.

Secrets of Iron In al-Quran All this suggests that the metallic iron is formed in the earth but not a shipment from stars that exploded in space via meteors and "down to earth", exactly as stated in the verse: It is clear that this fact does not can be known scientifically in the 7th century when the Qur'an was revealed.
